Southern Music Aritcles We All Need Rebel Pride - Tim Hall

The band Rebel Pride hails (in a loud, driving voice) from the great state of Florida.  Not the Florida with palm trees and flamingos, but the Florida with moonshine and Rebel flags.  New Southern rock bands could learn a thing or two from these real Southern rockers.  Like my mom’s homemade barbeque, their sound is sweet, spicy and very filling.

Influenced by the works of Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers, Molly Hatchet, ZZ Top, and even Jimi Hendrix, the bands new CD, “It Is What It Is” shines as a rock-solid example of the genre.  The group’s members are real folks, not posers or karaoke country singers that we all see too much of these days. Their heavy guitar, driving bass, hell raisin’ music embodies the authentic feel and sound missing from most so called southern rock groups.  Get their CD, kick back, have beer and get in touch with your inner rebel.
